Happy new year to each and everyone of you !

Hope this year brings with itself a lot of creativity and color into your life.

I have been a bit sick lately hence it took me a while to post something sooner. 

But today i decided to share with you my altered journal for 2014 :) 

I really enjoyed making this one 

I have a tutorial of how i made the background over at the lulupu blog 

where we are playing  Challenge #23 - Create a calendar.

here is my take on it ! 

 I started off with a plain looking journal 

which i converted into this one here.

 This magnolia stamp is my newest buy during the boxing day discounts ! 

My main inspiration for using this image was this perfume !

 
I hope you see the connection ! :)  

 The tiny calender sheet is hand written , and i distressed it to look oldish.

 All the flowers you see here are handmade.

 Here is the a closer look at the texture of the background ! I used some texture paste and glitter on top.

And finally another close up of the lace and the numbers 2014 !
It is a perfect gift to give away too :)

We decided to do CAS cards for this blog hop 

CAS cards with PP and sequins

 

here is my card 

 Since we are talking CAS this month at BGC :) 

I went with white card stock.

I stamped a dancing boy stamp from Mica Christmas stamp set. 

I colored him using promarkers 

I did a lot of distressing on the tag with misting .

 Here is a closer look at the sequin

 And ofcourse you can see the lovely stamped sentiment by Whimsy stamps :)

Now coming to what i made for the HOP and the challenge 

 I made this card using all five ingredients !

 

It has diecuts , Misting on the flourish on the top.

The flowers are handmade. 

 Image is a magnolia stamp - I have used LUNA watercolor pencils to color it.

 This is my fav thing ! :) the bell ! and the embossing enamel ! :)

There is a hidden tag tucked away at the top. 

Which has a paper feather with embossing ! 

I really enjoyed making this card . It was a fun recipe to work with.
