No stamping card with sizzix

*picture heavy post*
Okay its time for my inspiration for the next challenge over @Beyond Grey
we are playing another great challenge this time around which was Mel's idea
She dared us (the stamp loving people , herself included) to
make a card or a layout without any
STAMPING or DIGI IMAGES only sentiments allowed.
So basically it was a tough task !!
I thought if no stamps then i will need to get down to some diecutting !
believe me i tried a few combinations but i thought a "Love" card should do
this time :)  Also i didnt want it to be a regular square or rectangular card ,
wanted to try a new fold but i have done quite a few easels.
I had recently heard about a "Flip it card " which seemed like
a cool option to try on , and the fold looked pretty fancy to me :)

which was my inspiration , i don't have this die , but its a real tease !
i would surely get one for myself !
Okay coming back to the actual card, i tried making the handmade flip it card in
a circular central piece. sizzix also has the same one i attempted .
so here is my card.

 The window :)

This is basically the front of the card when its fold is opened.

from the other side

the white curls are totally handmade !
it was scrap but then i realized they look amazing !
So i made some more with the same technique and tada ! i have a whole lot of curls ! :)
I love the MFT die - leafy flourish , used some pielane wood free silk paper for the cutting
love the bright green they offer.
the sentiment and the bird are from Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Card Phrases Set #2
Love this die ... :)
It will soon be available with the local retailers :)
Hope u loved my card and will join us @  Beyond Grey Challenges
to play the NO STAMPING NO DIGI IMAGE challenge !
ciao ! until next time!
