Love card with sizzix

Hello from a snow clad part of the world ... 

Its all snow outside my window , haven't seen sunshine for days except today !

So i thought of sharing a pop up card i recently made for valentines day.

I love the Sizzix Pop 'n Cuts Dies 

They make pop up cards so easy ! :) 

Here is what i made with it 

 The die i have used here is

657802-sizzix-pop-n-cuts-xl-die-set-card-horizontal-circle-label-3-d-pop-up

The die originally cuts a longer card , but i reduced the size to fit my requirement. 

That's the beauty of these magnetic dies , you get to position your pop up mechanism 

anywhere you like ! its just great! 

They have a coordinating label for the insides in the Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Love Set

The label is what i have used outside instead on the inside. 

i have used the  Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK - Circles  instead on the inside , with 

Sizzix Bigz Die - Labels & Buttons  

The birds are cut with Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Card Phrases Set #2

 I made this flower with 657751-sizzix-sizzlits-die-set-3pk-decorative-vintage-set

 The die is absolutely great! love the outcome 

I curled the petals inwards to give the flower a dimensional look.

Now here is a little idea about the Pop n' cuts die . 

You will need your extended cutting pads with this die.

So if u buy a XL die be it pop n cuts or any other XL die from sizzix make sure 

you also buy a pair of extended cutting pads. 

Ok so first you need to align the pop up die inside your trey 

how do u do that ? 

Well this is something your die looks like with the base 

 Make sure you position your pop up die on the score marking given on the die. 

I hope u can see the lines aligned together.

Then you just keep your card-stock and sandwich it with your cutting pads and run it though your machines. 

 So thats the original and full size of your cut card.

 That's how the cuts come , Now we have to fold it.

 The trick is to do a vally fold then a mountain fold. 

make sure u hold the pop up correctly before folding as shown below. 

The larger two cut lines on the top when you hold the card facing u .
