Shabby chic Love treat box with a card.

Hi friends ,
i just finished working on a shabby chic treat box and a card for the BGC #24
We have officially commenced our challenges for 2013 .
The challenge is to make a
SHABBY CHIC LOVE - card / LO or project.
For this challenge we would love to welcome back our
Premium sponsor this year
Moving on to what i made
*Caution : Picture overload*
Here is how i made the set.
First up i embossed my card stock then distressed it with

Then i stamped my sentiment from the my minds eye set and i had the perfect sizzix frame for it !
it cuts out a label and a frame :) that can be reused later
cool right ?
So then i do my placements and voila !! :)
thats my card.

For the treat box i have used
Its a super beautiful die that lets u cut out two different types of candy jars.
I was absolutely happy with the results.

Thats one side of the box that i tried to make look like a Shabby chic Post box.
with a tiny envelop and an opening to drop in letters :)

The lace and the ribbon is what i bought at poundland
hat pins are back from india.
Flowers are from itsy bitsy and mallika.
This is the other side of the treat box.
They are the amazing  magnetic dies by Tim Holtz and sizzix.
I had never really used Movers and Shapers before.
but going at it is simple.!
PLS NOTE that you need a Base tray to use these dies.
The beauty is they stick to the tray any where you like!
This is great if u want to cut through labels , or the front or inside layers of your card
Or on your tags etc.
U just place your die on the trey then your paper, and finally sandwich it with your cutting plates.
I have used the extended cutting plates here.

And run it through your machine :)

So thats about it :) so do join us in the new challenge over at BGC #24
Cant wait to hear your thoughts !
