Yes! its a gift bag idea !

 Since i have a lot of packing material lying around (and *to my mother's horror* i tend to save it

thinkin i will use it somewhere ) :D i used some of it finally !

This time i wanted to show you a gift warp idea for your handmade cards.  

Often when i am gifting cards personally , 

I tend to make these paper bag like envelops

Cupcake card and an altered tin :)

Welcome readers ! 

Its been a while and i had been thinking to alter a nice tin 

that i had saved from my recent flight journey , bought some crunchy sticks to munch

and when i saw the tin i fell in love with it :D (as usual i carried it home, 

my mom made a big face for that but never mind what are big bags for ?? :D )

So yeah with that i made a card for the newest challenge 

at Beyond Grey Challenges
Where in the challenge is to 

Make a Birthday card simple right ?? 

well there is a twist ! 

it has to be a Shaped Birthday card !! :)  

I hope u all will be playing with us for winning the goodies from our fav. store in town 

 

This time again they are sponsoring us with an awesome PIE LANE goodie bag ! 

Here is what i made :)

I used some over sized pollen that i recently bought from a local store

to which im now addicted :D 

The cupcake template is hand drawn.

Now coming to the altered Tin 

i used the 

Sizzix Originals Die - Frame & Medallion

I totally love the way this frame cuts out ! its pretty neat and i have a lot of ideas 

still blooming in my head for this one here .... 

but im gonna hold my horses right now :P 

So as u can see i have gathered the following supplies

 closer look @ the frame isnt that awesome !

 So first i used a paper from Papermania- Docrafts UK ,

to cover the box , i found cupcakes so that seemed apt. 

Then i made the following central piece.

On the top i have a scrap of  Sizzix Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Lace Scallop

 And a flower made from sizzix bigz die-flower layers#6

Paper is by - Pie lane

Mannequin bookmark

Hello bloggers :) 

Hope u had a g8 and a sunny day !

im back with another post on a bookmark i made for a dear colleague. 

She loves to read books , so i decided to make a nice one for

her so that it reminds her of me :) 

I used the Sizzix bigz die -sewing room by tim holtz 

for the mannequin. (isnt that tempting)

I used some chipboard to cut it out ! Turned out amazing !! 

I simply colored it with Promarkers for the base

and then used the rest of the embellishments.
