Embossed watercolor card

Hello bloggers !
Welcome back to another little post :)
I made this embossed card recently with a bit of water coloring using distress inks.
I am using one of the sketches from MFT website
Moving the sketch a little bit with the shapes as well, here is what i made

I thought the sentiment seems apt for a love themed card :) but i wanted to use non traditional colors.
I just rubbed my ink pads on the embossing pad and sprayed some water on top and let the colors mix.

After which i just ran it through my big shot with my card stock sandwiched in between.

Love how it left the whites embossed .

I have also heat embossed the swirly die cut cardstock in gold.
Love how it looks ! :)
Hope you all liked my simple but colorful card.
Until soon !

Number Shaped card - 5th Birthday !

Hello folks !
Welcome back to my blog :)
I have another little card to share with you
I have been making some number shaped cards recently for birthdays (Which is completely new for me ! )  I thought i should share the one i made for a 5th birthday !
Such a fun idea ! the card shape is hand cut.
So what do you think ?
It took a bit of rough drawing and figuring out where the fold should go but it was worth it in the end.
I am also working on some more numbers. The series goes from 1 -10.
I chose to share this one first as I loved how it turned out !
And the fold was fairly simple to put on top.
I have colored my image with promarkers .
I have used Gesso on the design paper to tone down the colors a little and make my elements pop out.
There is Faux Stitching on the sides.

In the end i have a fun boys birthday card !
I hope you all enjoyed my card creation. Will be back with more !
Hugs

Birthday Boy - card

Hello !
Welcome back to my blog :) I am sharing another card i made.
My inspiration came from the color palette at MFT blog
Quite an unusual palette i must say , I tried incorporating all the colors
Here is what i came up with
I didn't have the bold stripes so i created my own striped paper on white card stock with washi tape blocking the white surface and inking the rest in black.
I adore the outcome ! Quite neat don't you think ?
Thats another digi stamp . I have colored using Promarkers.

I have used foam dots (lots of them ) to lift my layers up.

I have heat embossed the sentiment in gold.
Love how this turned out.
I cant wait to hear your thoughts !

Thats it from me today
See you soon !
Xx

Baby boy - Easel card

Hello Folks!
Im back with another card to share !
Love all the new images i found at Mo's !
Its so much fun to color them.
This time i have a baby boy card.

The image is colored using watercolors on prima watercolor paper.
I have used Prima Seashore paper over my card base.

The Layout of embellishments is kept simple.

And that's how the back of the card looks.
The trick is to stick your pattern paper on your card base first and then die cut half the die.
Love how it turned out.
That's how the card closes.
I have used Dimensional tape to lift my elements off the BG.
Hope that you enjoyed my post !
See ya soon !
