Embossed watercolor card

Hello bloggers !
Welcome back to another little post :)
I made this embossed card recently with a bit of water coloring using distress inks.
I am using one of the sketches from MFT website
Moving the sketch a little bit with the shapes as well, here is what i made

I thought the sentiment seems apt for a love themed card :) but i wanted to use non traditional colors.
I just rubbed my ink pads on the embossing pad and sprayed some water on top and let the colors mix.

After which i just ran it through my big shot with my card stock sandwiched in between.

Love how it left the whites embossed .

I have also heat embossed the swirly die cut cardstock in gold.
Love how it looks ! :)
Hope you all liked my simple but colorful card.
Until soon !

Welcome -2016 and a Card

Hello Bloggers !!
Happy new year !!
Hope you all had a lovely new years eve !
I for one was at home crafting my way through last night :)
and finally joining Mr K infront of the telly to watch the fireworks all around the world !
It was a cosy new years eve...

So here i am first thing , sharing what i made last night, with my beautiful new dies ! :)
Inspired by the sketch at MFT Blog
When i saw this sketch, I just felt inspired and jumped to working on my card.
To be honest i had been reading and catching up on all my fav blogs but nothing was inspiring me ... for days i had thought i lost my mojo. But was glad to kick start yesterday !
Who would have thought ? New years eve ? :)

My card base is a white cardstock.
Colored with broken china - distress ink pad .
Over which i embossed some snowflakes which are peaking from underneath the Pink pattern paper .
I used WOW white- embossing powder with white pigment ink.

I went quite crazy with embossing really.
The Frame is cut with spellbinders dies on cardstock and then heat embossed with Gold embossing powder.

I have also embossed the Dienamics feathers with Stampedenous Frantage embossing powder.

I quite love how this turned out :)
Hope you enjoyed my post too.
cya untill soon !

Sending you special wishes

Hello friends! I hope that you all had a lovely week!
Friday is here already and September is still looking bright for us out here
which is so good to see since its almost time for winter now.
I have been posting for itsy bitsy every 1st and 3rd friday of the month and this is another inspiration post for their blog. Check out their blog for more detailed info on this project.
This one is really special to me!
I kind of spent a whole evening making this simple looking card happen but it was totally worth the effort.
That is my Little darlings stamped image (Little Darlings Sweet Daisies.).
I coloured it using promarkers.

The lavender flower you see here is from Petite daises soft touch collection by itsy bitsy.
The other two flowers are handmade with cherry lynn dies and I covered all the flowers with some texture paste to give it a lovely rough look.

These butterflies are stamped and fussy cut.
I then coloured with the same shades of lilac and purple to coordinate with the whole card.
So that’s about it from me today.
I hope you enjoyed my card!
Happy weekend
See u soon !
