Hello all :) welcome back to Lightbox creative ideas !

Happy Monday to all of u !

Today I prepared another tilda card using

 Sizzix die-cuts. 

I so enjoyed making this one. 

It was ordered by someone , and it truly she was very happy with the result. 

Well I started off with some Authentique paper on my cardstock then added some paper from an old book and layered it up with another design paper in pink from My mind's eye !

I love doilies and i thought it should come out in this project ,

so i used the red doily thats cut with

659058 sizzix-thinlits-die-set-2pk-doily & doily-border#2

Moving on with some more hand stamped and cut doilies that are seen at the bottom of the card and the top right . 

The tag u see at the right top side is just stuffed there. It easily comes out to reveal a nice message .

And finally thats the inside. 

Hope u like the coloring of tilda. I used red and pink combination for this one. 

All the flowers are handmade.

All black card !

Hi all ! 

Welcome back to another post :) 

I am back yet again with another challenge on the Beyond Grey challenges blog

Now that it was my turn to throw in a challenge ... i kept wondering what to do 

I was sure i wanted a color challenge as we havent had that in a while . 

So an idea struck me why not make a Black card with only little pop of color ? 

So thats how it came to me ... 

But it was by far the most difficult to follow ..... 

So here is the newest challenge !

Oh So Knotty ! 

Now this challenge has 2 parts to it.  (Please read carefully to avoid confusion)

 You are free to make any paper crafted project , card or layout as long as

1. Your project has a KNOT  (or many knots) of some kind on it .
It can be ribbons, twins, fabric, jute or anything that can be knotted . 

2. Your project needs to be a complete black project with only Maroon or shades of maroon color on it, that means Maroon should stand out on black.
Neutrals like white, Kraft and beige are allowed but in limited amount. 

 Now that is sorted ,

Lets move on to my inspiration

I have used the 657748 Sizzix-textured-impressions-embossing-folder-classical-beauty-baroque-wallpaper-set for embossing the layer on top of the card.
I also sanded the edges to reduce the size of the paper so that the embossed layer is easily visible.
i then went for the chalk board effect with some white pigment ink on the embossed motifs .

Next using the doily that i cut with  659058 sizzix-thinlits-die-set-2pk-doily & doily-border#2
and inked it with black ink just slightly .
 I then stacked some ribbon i had into pleats and pushed it underneath the floral ovals die.

This flower is totally handmade using 659069 sizzix-thinlits-die-set-6pk-butterfly-flowers-lattice 
 

This flourish is made with Sizzix-sizzlits-die-card-phrases-set
The set has 3 pieces and has a lot to offer !
For the knot part of my challenge i decided to go with net fabric and made a double bow !

Tilda Shaker card !

Welcome back !

I couldn't wait to share this card with u all 

(I know u can guess.... 2nd post in a day :D ) 

I just finished making this one , 

Im on tilda madness !

Here is what i made 

 This is my first ever shaker card ! I got inspired by the simply magnolia blog to make one !
They are having a challenge of shaker magnolia cards .

Nothing is a better shaker card material than our very own Pie lane - chunky glitter !!! 

I used the one in periwinkle ! to color my tilda i have used my promarkers and im very happy with the results. Although i still prefer to do my hair with watercolor pencils, Don't have enough pro-markers to blend for the hair.

Here i have used the 658947 Sizzix-thinlits-die-set-2pk-doily-doily-border in a pearly kraft color for some layering. 

Created the shaker center piece with Spellbinders-floral-ovals die.

The tag is cut with Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 4PK - Tags 

One amazing tag die set that has about 4 different tag dies !

And i have also used the  Memory-box-die-whimsy-circle for layering with
Magnolia Doohickey Die - Dragonflies for some wings ! :) 

Do u love my handmade gardenia flower ?
I was experimenting with some papers and i made these in different colors .
The flourish is cut with 657522 Sizzix-sizzlits-die-set-3pk-card-phrases-set 
There is the die cut lace peaking out from underneath :) which i loveeeeee!!

Clean and simple cards with sizzix

Today i have some more CAS cards to share with u all . 

I am showcasing the new Paula Pascual Flower vases dies 

that she has designed with Sizzix. 

 I was thinking more of spring so i went with this set and the lovely colors that i have used. 

 I used my dear Lizzy and echo park paper scraps that i had left. Its always fun to use bits and pieces here and there :)

658606 sizzix-thinlits-die-set-18pk-flower-vases is the set i have used here to create both the flowers and the vases . This set has about 18 dies !! Can u imagine ? All different little flowers and various sizes and shapes of vases . To see what this die set has to offer click here

 The sentiment is by My mind's eye clear stamps. Remember set. 

 I added some rhinestones for the bling ! :)

I really enjoyed making these cards .

I think is one versatile die set everyone should get their hands on.
