Mixed media canvas

Hello everyone !!! 

I have been meaning to share my mixed media canvas for a while but 

have been quite busy lately !! 

At BGC this month we are playing the mixed media theme !

 So i made a canvas ! 

I sort of went with my usual style floral and colorful ! 

 I have done a lot of layering with doilies and diecuts

 All the flowers you see are handmade. 

Also there is use of texture paste and Lindy's stamp gang mists ! :) 

Enjoyed doing this one :)

Hello bloggers !

I really love the change of season going around here !

 So much sunshine (but with a bit of cold) these days and spring is officially here !

All the trees are blooming !

Anyway today i have frame i made keeping in mind the lovely inspiration at

a sprinkle of imagination

 I really loved the pallete they have there 

 Some very different colors for me ! I am so used to pinks and blues .... 

it really took me by surprise how lovely this combination looks !
I have tried to use all the colors. 

Here is a closer look at the flowers ! The feather is dipped in Glitter, just for fun :)

I have gone for the Brirds and garden theme.
Just seemed apt. The butterfly is suppsed to be plum but looks a lil differnt here in my picute.

Floral hanging

Hi everyone

I had created this dimensional floral hanging recently. 

 

Well what do u think ? 

 I have used some green tulle for the bow, 

with some big sparkely lavender pollens at the back

I have used the Sizzix Bigz Die - Corners, Flourish   with the pollens.

 Flowers are a local buy , I have used MFT leafy flourish die with the flowers.

 The Dragon fly is a die cut with Magnolia dies. 

And the chipboard cage is by Itsy Bitsy !

 The bird is a local buy and all this rests on a wire ! :)

This was a wooden box

Hie all !

recently i upcycled this wooden box to make it a jewelry box.

This was a wooden box i had since ages ! 
I didnt know what to do with it so it used to hold in scraps earlier,
 until i realized the need for a jewelry box.
So i decided to upcycle it :)
into this !

what do u think ?

I started with painting it white on the edges with acrylic , 
then i modge podged it to keep it in place. 
Then i used my vintagey romantic papers from Pink Paiselee on it. 

 

 The flowers are totally handmade :)
