Birthday wishes

welcome back for another post !

well i created this card a few days back , just another birthday card 

to stock. 

 

Lately i have been Tilda obsessed ! 

I have been stamping and coloring all day for fun :) 

Here I have used the Memory Box Snowflake corner die 

and glitterized it in pixie dust from pie lane

Then some echo park papers and My minds' eye paper pad 

MME stamps for the hexagon 

brad & Pink flower from Itsy bitsy  

Sentiment Inkadinkado clear stamps, 

Ribbon is local so are the rest of the flowers

This was a wooden box

Hie all !

recently i upcycled this wooden box to make it a jewelry box.

This was a wooden box i had since ages ! 
I didnt know what to do with it so it used to hold in scraps earlier,
 until i realized the need for a jewelry box.
So i decided to upcycle it :)
into this !

what do u think ?

I started with painting it white on the edges with acrylic , 
then i modge podged it to keep it in place. 
Then i used my vintagey romantic papers from Pink Paiselee on it. 

 

 The flowers are totally handmade :)

Tilda & Edwin - a loving couple card

Hi friends ! 

How have u been all this while ? Another weekend is going to start 

im sure u all have some super nice plans this 

Ganesh Chaturthi. 

With that note i have a Tilda and Edwin card for you :) 

I have been seeing and drooling over how 

lot of people create some amazing cards with 

the magnolia stamp series. 

There is something about those smile less faces that

conveys every emotion so well!!

(Well , that's a Tilda fan talking!) 

So here is that i made. 

 I wanted to layer it more, but somehow i thought it was better like this.

The lamp post is a MDF lazer cut from itsy bitsy. 

I absolutely adore it ! can u see the lighting halo underneath ?  

 This card is actually fit for weddings, anniversaries or for a couple 

who is expecting !

The sentiment says - You are such a Joy 

 

Used the Tilda and Edwin stamp from magnolia.

 I used the "Be happy" paper pad 6x6 that i got from PPS Dubai.

BGC#17- Graphic challenge + sizzix post.

Hello ! Hope u all are doing good !

We are playing another superb challenge at BGC

Its the Graphic Shapes challenge by Nirupama.  

She asks us to Keep a regular base (square/rectangle)

 and use one or two basic shapes as the major design elements.  

Shapes like circle, diamond, hexagon, triangle, etc.

A mystery stamp set

So here is my take on it , this time i made a page for a couple. 

They will be framing this later (wink wink !)

what do u think ?? 
when i sat down do work up something for this challenge i was utterly confused. 
too many ideas too many things. So i finally decided to make a page 
instead of a card . I have incorporated Hexagons , Circles and Triangles 
In my page for the graphics !

 The white flower is handmade "Elegant ruffled flower" in white. 
The frosted pink flowers lurking on the sides are cut from 
Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Card Phrases Set

That lovely hexaone embossing folder is by 

Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 2PK - Free Spirit Florals Set

 Nice isnt it ? 

The circle on top is Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Flower Set #5 

with a frosted heart (Oh well i love frosting ! :) )
