and the buildings are made with black ink pen. 

and wet with water to create a lil grey.

Diwali Spl.

 The festive mood in on !! 

we are celebrating the Indian festival of lights -- DIWALI !!

This yr we went Eco friendly .... with no firecrackers !

Only diya's (small clay lamps ) and lighting :) 

its really superb lookin out the window .... :) 

i really love diwali its the most vibrant festival !

PS: outside my window ... :) some people did celebrate with firecrackers 

Deepavali marks the end of the harvest season in most of India. 

Farmers give thanks for the bounty of the year gone by, 

and pray for a good harvest for the year to come. Traditionally this marked the closing of accounts for businesses dependent on the agrarian cycle,

 and is the last major celebration before winter. 

Goddess Lakshmi symbolizes wealth and prosperity, 

and her blessings are invoked for a good year ahead.
