Handmade Penguin

Hi everyone !

here is a lil somthing i made during my Montessori course!

its a Penguin!

and oh ! its colorful :D 

we made it out of mix of White glue, cornflour , toilet paper .... 

and made a doe out of it !

(1 roll of toilet paper ,500 gms of flour and 500 grm of white glue , little water )

 (yes!! its sticky and messy!)

the doe takes time to make .... bt the out come is good

we need to keep mixing White glue and water to the flour and paper tissue till its smooth and lump free. 

Make sure u tear the Tissue papers really small before making the doe 

unless u do that it wont work out!

here is the final outcome - all painted in acrylic

 he holds some of my handmade paper flowers ! :D 

and a tri colored muffler made of Yarn.

 its as though the penguin is coming out of water

 

this one is rock solid when it dries !

one can make anything out of this doe - it dries in 24 hrs so u have all day to shape it the way u want ! 

I made a lot of flowers out of it. 

if the doe is left over just wrap it in a pollybag and store @ room temp and use with in 2-3 days.

A journey to remember

Here is a card i made for my bro's bday ! 

it signifies his love for England and his short stay there ..... :) 

this one is pretty simply close to my heart :)

Used the Pink paislee DP for the layout. 

The girl's paperie - Arrow die cut and tag. 

hand written Location address.

Pink paislee buterfly garden stamps.

And a local jute twine !

Christmas in August

Hi everyone !!

I made the following card out of blues .... i felt like Christmas in august !

i really love Christmas, its for everyone ! 

So when i found this lovely dull red paper with snow flakes on it , in a nearby store, 

I immediately had a good idea of what i wanted to make !!

Quickly i combined a few more elements and made a garland saying MERRY XMAS 

and Voila !! 

Here is my card for an early Xmas ! 

I used tea colored large rhinestones , with hand made paper flowers for the above

 handwritten merry xmas , on a golden twine (By LBCI)

 Added some more White flowers

Used a "pink paislee" butterfly garden collection paper in green , 

over which i hand drew the stitches , added a "The girl's paperie" die cut to complete the card !

Rakhi Card

Hi everyone ! 

Since we are surrounded with so many festivals this month ! 

i created this Rakhi card (On order) . 

It was fun doing this project, kept it simple and added a few indie colors .

Inside it carries a Personal message from the sender on the same light olive green wood free Silk paper (By pie lane)

have a look , 

I used the following Products

•  LBCI - White flowers 
• LBCI- Golden twine
• LBCI- Shell buttons 
• Pie lane - White sparkles 
• Pie lane - wood free silk paper (Light olive green)
• Small font Alphabet stamps .
