Birthday Tag with sizzix

Hi all :) 

I just came in to give u a quick post on a birthday tag i made for someone. 

 I love the echo park paper pad "Splash"

Its great if u like bold patterns with lots of color !

I have used the Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Card Phrases Set #3
For the Birthday sentiment
 and the Sizzix Originals Die - Frame & Medallion

for the white medallion under the button.

Wedding favors - gift tags

Since its wedding season ! 

i have been going all rush rush with some wedding favor gift tags  !

thanks to sizzix i have so many options to work with !

i love damask patterns and the

 Sizzix Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Regal Edging

 By scrappy cat is one of my fav's !!

here are the wedding tags

 

I chose to go aqua with a touch of green plus Gold and white on this project. 

I totally love the feel of the tulle it just gave my tags some lightness and dreamy feel ! 

The tulle i used is from hallmark 

Offcourse i never go to hallmark for cards :D .. but its a g8 place to get some 

Packing material !

(they house some great ribbons and boxes)

 

 I kept the top of the tag empty for the names of the guests. 
I wanted it to be Elegant and i kinda like the whole feel of it.

Ombre card with sizzix

Hi all ! been a while :) 
So here i am back with another sizzix post 
This is a new one i heard from our very talented DT member Niru ! 

All anyone else i had no idea abt OMBRE 

until i was enlightened by her so here is the theme

So the challenge this time is - To create a "Ombre" card or page.

Here is what i made , i must say i had a blast making this one !!

So i kept scrating my head on how to go ombre ... and how to still make it my style. 
I didnt want to go all CAS on this one...
So when i was going through my sizzix die collection (SLURPPPP!!) 
My eyes stopped searching @ the Harlequin Border 
I mean the look of handcut lace is a g8 sight !
 

So the 1st think after chosing my die was to pick a color , i decided no one can go wrong with Pink !
so i painted the darkest pink on a paper , and going down i started adding white to it. 
I used watercolors . On top of that i just misted some gold color 
and after it was dry i run it through my big shot. 

 

Notice the hint of gold on the lace ?? 

After the base was done i just used my newly acquired 

*Hero Arts Cling Stamp LARGE SOLID FLOWER 

with *Tsukineko Memento Ink Pad BAMBOO LEAVES Green

Sentiment is from Fiskars 8"x8" Clear Stamps - Laugh With Me 

And the Tag is from  Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Card Phrases Set #3 

The above set has some g8 phrases that can be used i personally am in love with this one 

Its soon going to be available @ ur nearest retailer 

most likely @ itsy bitsy for us :) 

 

Thats the flower :) I colored it using some shimmer , was just testing and it turned out so good!

And one can never go wrong with Pie lane glitter balls :) arent they a beauty !! 

So hope that inspired u enough to play with us @ Beyond Grey 
and Im sure ur thinking of grabbing those amazing Dies from sizzix :)
