Word album - MOM + Sizzix post

Hi guys , 

I recently made this word album on order.

It was rather a big album , has about 14 pages to it . 

 The album is a chipboard one from hobby ideas

I used the Papermania paper pad for covering the letters MOM. 

Wanted to keep it subtle and elegant hence the choice of colors

and flowers with everything girly :)

 I had a blast with all the amazing sizzix dies that i got from sizzix UK.

Here i have used the Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Decorative Vintage Set 
for the peacock  and Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Love Set 
for the sentiment love , Flowers are handmade .

Used the bigz die sewing room and some silver twine to show the spool. 

Sizzix Sizzlits - Washer Border peaks out from beneath the picture just for fun :)

 I was given original vintage pictures of the couple to be used 

which i really loved ! 
Here i used the Sizzix Bigz Die - Doily, Lace Medallion with some pie lane paper.
And my gorjuss stamps with the soul-mate sentiment from itsy bitsy. 

Sizzix Framelits Die Set 5PK w/Stamp - Garden Flowers Set 

was used for the flowers on the tag.

Sizzix Decorative Strip- Paper Rosette used on the backside of the tag. 

Kept this part without a picture and later added a tag beneath the ribbon 

for journaling ,

I used the Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing - Classical Beauty & Baroque 

Embossing pad for makin some great brocade patterns on thick cardstock.

And then distress inked it

Note the embossing , 

This medallion is from the Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Decorative Vintage Set

Used a prima chipboard sticker on top.

Another tag die from sizzix , with Sizzix Originals Die - Frame & Medallion 

Again note the lovely emboss :)

And  *Magnolia DRAGONFLIES Doohickeys Cutting Dies 

for the dragon fly 

and the lovely flower is cut from the 

Magnolia DOILY FLOWERS Doohickeys dies

So thats about the end of it ... phewwwww!!! that took a while !

There are so many supplies in this some of which i must have missed to mention but nonetheless everything is a perfect fit !! 

And the best part the reciever loved it to the core :)

Case study + Sizzix Post

Hi all :) 

We at Beyond Grey are playing another

 CASE STUDY or SCRAP LIFT challenge And the card we will be drawing inspiration from is -

By romina    So For this challenge 

 Create a Layout or a Card based on the above card .
You may change the color, change the elements even play with the layout a lil bit
but over all it should clearly show that this was "CASED " or "SCRAP LIFTED" from d above image
in other words it should have a significant resemblance to the above card .

So here is my case study 

I decided to play with blue for this
Didnt want it to be totally same so i picked up
 the layout, embossing and misting elements.

This lovely tag is from Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Sweet Treats for You Set 

The embossing folder is Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 2PK - Circle Fram.
Used some Fabriano Elle Erre - card stock in azure blue that i got from Anita.
The white paper is local dont rem the brand .

This flower is totally handmade with lace :) and a pearl center , 
used the Die-namics Leafy Flourish

And the final touch with the gorgeous Pie lane Glitter balls in blue :)
