I was just going through some sizzix catalogs the other day.  

And here are some Sizzix MUST HAVES!!!  

(according to me)

 These are some of my fav things from sizzix.

This is one die we all need to stock ! 

I personally dont have it , but i have been craving for it for quite some time now 

and i have plans to get my hands on this one!! :) 

don't u just love the flowers and the superb borders?? 

   

Sizzix Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Harlequin Border

 

The healequin border is a nice way to finish a project !

I use it alot ! even the scraps it leaves after the die cuts , is super useful !

The washer border is a life savior ! thats all i can say !

 It looks good in any project be it vintage or classy.

Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Box w/Lid, Cake Slice

 Have u heard of these XL score boards dies by sizzix ? They are superb for making 

boxes ! they have such unusual shapes and even in cards they have nice series. 

Its worth a check out. 

 

Sizzix On the Edge Die - Distressed Doily

 

Another Tim holtz Fav! For all the doily lovers !

But u need a pair of "On the Edge Cutting Pads" with these.

 where in when u open the card the center piece 

flips !!  Cool right ?

A Photo frame !

Hello friends ! Glad to join u again with another post !

I am super busy with lots and lots of work as the dday comes near !

but here is a lil something i made

A Photo Frame !! 

Okay first up I got myself a MDF Square photo frame

From Hobby ideas, It looks something like this.

So i turned this into 

this !! 

Here is what i did

I first applied white gesso and stuck 

the Sizzix Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Filigree Border 
Isnt it pretty ??

I wanted that unfinished raw look for the frame 
so i went on carelessly dabbing some gesso on top of the lace.
 Used Distress inks in two tones on the die cut lace
TUMBLED GLASS Blue  & PEELED PAINT Green 
to get the desired effect. 

After the die was adhered in place and when the gesso was dry , 
It looked something like above. 

I then tried my placement of flowers and butterflies and 
when i was happy with it I modge podged the whole frame 
and quickly adhered the embellishments in place too. 

The flowers are handmade and can be made on order.

The butterflies are stamped with  Inkadinkado REACH FOR THE SKY Clear MINI
And then colored with pencils.

I used the  Maya Road OLIVIA ALPHABET MINI Chipboard letters
For the Sentiment. 
Dipped them in the precious "clear white pixie dust" by pie lane !


Finished my frame with some grey Pie lane glitter balls ... Gorjusss!!!

Oh yes :) so much IN LOVE with this project !

Sizzix post - Candy cup flower arrangement

Okay !! since i gave a sneak peak of this on our fan page , 

and got so many likes , i couldn't wait to post it.

After visiting the sizzix blog for new releases and ideas 

i got really inspired by the flower pots made by Anna-Karin 

so i decided to make some for myself too !!

I have used the Eileen Hull Sizzix ScoreBoards Die - Candy Cup

Eileen has designed some really cool dies for sizzix that i cant resist using!!! 

I am a big fan of hers ! 

 

 Here is a closup of the flowers , They are done with 

Magnolia's DOILY FLOWERS Doohickeys Cutting Dies

Awee those are amazing !

inked them with Distress ink pads

  

Sentiment by Prima cling stamps. 

 

 Since i didnt have a gauze handy , i used cotton and sprayed green color 

all over it. (The green u see underneath the flowers is the cotton.)

And some wire to support the bird and the butterfly 

 And this is the second one with the bird.
