Case Study # 67

This is my creation for a dear friend who has
inspired me to do a lot of g8 things 

Including following my creative dream :) 

This person has been really supportive through out 

and 

i wish the stars for this person .... 

so w/o further ado this is my CAS creation for my pal ! :) 

This is basically a case study .... 

and im CASE-ing Kryssi Ng (Nov muse)

 

 Hope it fell through .......

 

i did some Multiple stamping to create the Half doily ....  Plus added a grey circle Frame around the stamped image to make it larger :) 

used some PIE LANE Tear drop beads to complete the look :)

Upcycled bin -2

Hi guys ! since i made my 1st cardboard box bin, 

i have been asked to make another one :) by my sis in law 

definatly this one had to be even better ! :D 

Personally i really loveee it ! 

(more than i can admit :P i dont feel like giving it away :D )

and my sis in law was surprisingly happy after seeing what i made for her (well she had to be !)

Bliss - Layout

hi guys ! :) 

Back again i am with another layout !

I had finished making some handmade flowers that u must have seen in my previous post,

and i tried a few paper punching tricks given by a fellow crafter at ICR. 

And it just so happned that i fixed myself a layout

Have a look ...... 

Below is a Handmade flourish covered in Sparkles in  by "Pie lane"

 And a few more flowers :) aren't they pretty ??? :)

Miss you card

 Hey peeps ! 

Since the time i got back from the diwali holidays , 

i had been stuck in a rut ..... got lazy (read Couch Potato)

and felt totally NON-CREATIVE ! (yes!! im only human !) 

I didn't touch my stash for weeks .... WEEKS !!  

But im back with a bang now !

And i chose to challenge myself with yet another card challenge 

Again i chose to club 2 diff challenges together ! :) (which is totally fun !!)

I saw this really fun challenge @ the CAS-ual fridays blog 

where we were asked to make a CAS card with a TAG or just a CAS- TAG. 

And then @ the Play Date Cafe 

they had a superb color palate for use !

monochrome & a splash of Orange !! 

How could i ever resist, so i decided to make the following card.... 

take a peak 

I first stamped my background on a white card in black ink. 

(Using prima clear stamps)

I had some left over space at the top of the card which i didn't want to leave blank 

so i stamped it with the sentiment "miss you" repeatedly in Orange ! (there goes my Color Splash !)

So remembering to keep it Clean And Simple (which isn't my style @ all  :P )

i made a hand cut tag with the white side of a scrap and stamped it with a bird cage image (Love it !) 

again in black ink outlined it with my faber castle pens in orange and topped it up with a ribbon. 

Last but not the least i added the 2 freshly made blooms ! (straight from my crafting table !)

I had handcrafted these lovely flowers specially for this challenge. 

just made a dozen of them now. (coz im in love with them ) 

They will be available for sale soon ! :)

Feather touch

 Hi everyone ! 

Back i am again , with another quick card. 

Oh yes this was Quite Quick !! 

This time i decided to play with Feathers ... ( :D makes ur mind go in all directions isnt it ??) 

well so ! here is what i created 

I took a dull gray DP for the base 

stitched it all over,

adhered one lil strip of the polka dots paper in pink 

and arranged my feathers ! :) 

This is my start to a style called CAS "Clean and simple"

I wanted to keep it simple ... so here it goes !

Holiday Tags

Hi everyone !

after a long diwali break i write again :) 

so we girls at ICR were brainstorming abt challenges and voila !! our dearest shalini came up with 

a really fun challange of incorporating DOTS and / or STRIPES into our creation 

but wait there is a TWIST - there has to be a TAG in it ! (Or only a tag itself)

 I just thought it will be fun to create a tag set !

This time i decided to add some metal to my creation. 

and some embossing ! 

Yes! u haven't seen me emboss anything before and i simply love it !!!

I put some clear embossing powder from hobby ideas to use !

 couldn't get a clear shot but the reindeer is also embossed.
