Hey guys !
How have u been ?
Well since its pretty cold here on my side of the planet so i was down with flu :(
and it just didn't let me craft or post anything
So finally i found a lil energy to sit up straight (rolling eyes)
Okay so this is a card i made recently for my mom for her bday :)
Well i always wanted to do the embossed female Face :)
Seemed very apt here.
Im not sure why but i was sort of fixated on keeping the female black and shadowy
After embossing i painted her jet black in acrylic colors for the figure to show off more.
The flowers are handmade :) Love the pink , it sort of brought life to the vintagey frame.
The flourish is made on pie lane wood free silk paper (Lovee the fresh green)
And i think we can never go wrong with pearls !!
This lil dragon fly here (which more aptly looks like a baby butterfly)
is cut from Magnolia DRAGONFLIES Doohickeys Cutting Dies
Ahh i am in love with them....
Now the embossed frame ... well its done with
Thats a set i really love , its got this full size frame , and a fitting female face silhouette
I enjoy creating with this one ! :)
I used some distress ink to give it a lil color but dint want it to be too over powering!
Well this is how the inside looks like :)
The stamped sentiment is from 8"x8" Clear Stamps - Laugh With Me
The birthday one is from Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Card Phrases Set #3
I lovee the luxurious feel to it :)
There look at the Beautiful flawless embossing ..... so amazing :)
And oh yeah ! i saved the best to the last !
I sort of wanted to fill those lil corners with something ,i just didnt know what
and out of blues i just pored in some modge podge and some glitter balls by pie lane
they sort of are stuck for life :D
but mom loved em ! :)
So hope u enjoyed the post !
Cant wait to hear your comments :)
