Red Ballerina

Hello all :) welcome back to Lightbox creative ideas !

Happy Monday to all of u !

Today I prepared another tilda card using

Sizzix die-cuts.

I so enjoyed making this one.

It was ordered by someone , and it truly she was very happy with the result.

Well I started off with some Authentique paper on my cardstock then added some paper from an old book and layered it up with another design paper in pink from My mind's eye !

I love doilies and i thought it should come out in this project ,

so i used the red doily thats cut with

Moving on with some more hand stamped and cut doilies that are seen at the bottom of the card and the top right .

The tag u see at the right top side is just stuffed there. It easily comes out to reveal a nice message .

And finally thats the inside.

Hope u like the coloring of tilda. I used red and pink combination for this one.

All the flowers are handmade.

Shabby Kraft card + Argyle pattern.

Hello all !

Today i am showcasing another card creation for the very lovely

Beyond Grey Challenges !

We were challenged by Snehal to use some Argyle pattern on our projects.

First thing I did when I heard the theme was to pull out all things that had a "Argyle"

Its basically all sorts of Diamonds and Lozenges.

I had just got this amazing new paper pad by My Mind's Eye

It had very summery colored argyle pattern so i just took a dive !

Loved this challenge !

I decided to not use More than 2 dies on this project and when i timed myself

it went on pretty well all in 20 Mins !

here is the card

I love Kraft ! So i figured what better way to bring out my summer colors other than some Kraft !

I picked my usual Kraft paper bags that u get when u shop groceries and cut out my square , i crushed it and made a ball out of it and smoothed it out again and used it on the cardstock to give it a shabby look .

I was just sitting and stamping this My Mind's Eye - sweetest thing collection stamp flower in all different colors on a scrap paper when i realized it looks really beautiful ! So i fuzzy cut them all (which took a bit of time otherwise the card would have been quicker)

So then i just lined my paper put the stamped flowers on top with some leaves and the doily and the sentiment for you cut with Sizzix Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Card Phrases Set #3

on the top and i was done !

Those are some lovely flowers on the inside. cute right ?

Finished up with some rhinestones :)

Keepsakes box and tag

Hi all

I recently made this keepsakes box with a mini tilda stamp.

Here is the look

I loved creating this one it was one heck of a crafty ride.

There are a lot of sizzix dies I have used here.

Which I will will be listing down in the supplies Column .

I UPCYCLED a Bhel Puri (Indian Snack) Box into this lovely Shabby Chic keepsake box !
I loved the idea totally , lately shabby chic is all im doing .... :) seems like i found my style !

The lovely frame u see here is a wooden one by Itsy bitsy !
I distressed it and added some crackle accents to it.
I found the perfect sentiment saying Dream come true scrap in my stash which i have used here.
Again all crackled up !

There is some lovely single knot here that goes around the box.

How do u like the tag??
I used the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 5PK - Frames, Decorative #2
for cutting the top of the tag .

All the flowers are handmade , I am running low on my tiny roses so I sat down recently to make some of my own prima lookalike roses I think they came out really well.

I did take a lot of time surprisingly to think this one through....
I somehow lost my mojo In between ... :( but I guess I am coming back .
