Hello bloggers !
Welcome back to my blog.
Its been really busy here with lots of orders coming in
(and all of them are LAST min Urgent Ones , Phewww)
So i have been Creating like a mad woman .... My carpet is full of paper dust :P
(which im gonna have a bad time cleaning )
And my crafting table as supplies all over the place :D
but none the less i am having a good time killing my back over some really cute cards that i made :)
I have tutorial on making a window card with sizzix Thinlits dies.
For which I am using the lovely pallet of pastels that is shared on
Moxie fab Tuesday Trigger
I have been meaning to use the lattice die from the 659069 sizzix-thinlits-die-set-6pk-butterfly-flowers-lattice set for a while and i figured it would look really great this way :)
So i went ahead with it :)
The pink flower is handmade! I used some lovely hobbycraft crepe paper to make it .
Its totally hand cut and assembled . I used the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK - Circles #2
to make the rolled roses .
Now coming to the tutorial on how i made this window.
First cut a window on the folded card base with one of the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 5PK - Frames, Decorative #2 die. You may use any other die u like too.
Then pick a design paper and cut another window keeping in mind the size of the card base.
Before cutting just make sure u place the DP under the previously cut card base and make a light trace of the already cut window, this will guide you where to place your die on the DP.
Alternatively you may also keep the DP and your card stock together when u first cut it. But i get a bit paranoid of the paper moving and me cutting it the wrong way so i do the cuts separately.
Often ppl use washi tape to stick the die in one place , but i hate to waste it :)

Now place your lattice on the card front in a way that it covers the window u make earlier .
And glue it . The reason i placed the lattice a bit up and down was to align the design pattern.
Now just glue the DP that we cut previously sandwiching the lattice. And its as easy as that !
Your laced window is done ! :)
This is how clean it looks from the inside. Cool right ?
So i made this into a birthday card.
The rose buds are handmade :) Used some white and yellow this time .
Hope u all liked my work :)
Waiting to hear your thoughts ! :)
Hugs !
