Flowers !

Hey guys !

Its been a little lonely lately on the blog !!

i know i haven't blogged in a few weeks. 

i see my mojo returning a little 

and thats when i tried making a few flowers :) 

Here is what i made! 

 

 I started of with some potted hydrangea flowers in blue , and when it turned out so great !! I went for a pink one too :)

  

Soon i also played with my scraps and made some poppies !

I kinda love the look they give ! 

I am soon going to start online classes for the same :)

Handmade frame :)

Welcome back readers ! :)
Hope u are doing great ? I have a nice frame to share with u .
I did most of its work a while back but just sat down and gave it a few finishing touches .
I thought with my mojo gone i should just finish up the unfinished pieces.
Dont know bout u , but i just sometimes leave a piece half done when im not satisfied or just confused
and i take it out way later with a fresh mind :)
Okay so here is my frame

Well a lot of work has gone into this beautiful piece :) 

 I found this bird in the clearance section of hobby craft :D its a nice page with cut-able images :)
The bird nest is handmade. I used some brown paper twine to make it, plus a few pearls to look like eggs didn't hurt either :)

All the flowers are handmade except the blue ones .  These sprays are totally handmade and this was my first try at them. After which i did manage to get better at them :)

 This cork accent is a die cute with a sizzix die (supplies listed below.)
Love how it looks :)

 Thats the look i was going for , i really am happy with the texture.

 The dress form is a chipboard piece from Maya road. On which i have used some MME Stamps !

Latte love - coffee card !

Hello guys !

Im back with another card that i made for the BGC blog! 

we are playing a coffee inspired challenge with some stitching !

Loved playing along :) it was superb ! 

Here is my card !

 I came up with this card with absolutely no ideas in mind 

when i heard about this challenge i was brimming with ideas but then i lost my mojo :( and i just wasnt happy with what i was making. 

But finally managed to brew this one somehow. 

Does it ever happen to you too ? losing mojo and getting all lazy , bored and depressed :/ 

Gaah hate such times. 

 I picked up some new My minds eye papers ! They are amazing ! 

love the colors and patterns they have 

its very fresh and sweet !

I have played with a few dies here mainly circles and scallops :) 

Since we had to include stitching into the coffee theme , i went and did some ribbon work on the scalloped circle. Also added some hand stitches on the heart of the coffee cup , and i realized i was out of practice , and its not very flattering :( 

so i just left it at that , i had initially decided to fully fill the heart with hand embroidery . 

After which i added some faux stitching too.

This card  was pretty simple to make :) i think i was done in about 30 mins . I took a while to tie my bow , and pick out the papers, rest was just fine. 

I haven't crafted in a few days and im hoping my mojo comes back soon.

Have a major event for which i need to prepare .

Upcycled Pen stand

Hey guys !

How have u been ? I had a bad migraine for 3 days :( which was killing my mood to post

some of the things i have been making !

Now that i have a bit of time before the headache starts again , i thought i will 

just share a quick post with u . 

I made a pen stand out of a yoghurt can !

Yeah i am going to set up a stall at a fair so im busy creating !

I paper mach-ed some book pages to my can so that it looks shabby.
Then added a light coat of gesso on top of which i added some Rusty hinge distress stain !
I really love the way it came out .

Lifecycle tag +Fridge magnet -3

Hi everyone !

Im back with another tag in the fridge magnet series ! 

 What do u think ? I have directly used a kraft industrial packaging to cut my tag. 

Then i added a doily there. On which i have layered all my PP 

 The Cycle is a inkadinkado mini stamp, and the sentiment is again handwritten , which shamelessly i am not at all getting better at :S 

So the tag has a magnetic sheet at the back to hold it on a metallic surface.

There it is hanging on to my wall heater :) Happy and nice !
