Holiday Tags

Hi everyone !

after a long diwali break i write again :) 

so we girls at ICR were brainstorming abt challenges and voila !! our dearest shalini came up with 

a really fun challange of incorporating DOTS and / or STRIPES into our creation 

but wait there is a TWIST - there has to be a TAG in it ! (Or only a tag itself)

Now for this one i decided to go PINK .

 I just thought it will be fun to create a tag set !

This time i decided to add some metal to my creation. 

and some embossing ! 

Yes! u haven't seen me emboss anything before and i simply love it !!!

I put some clear embossing powder from hobby ideas to use !

 couldn't get a clear shot but the reindeer is also embossed.

A window card - with filling

hi guys !

long time ago , when i started card making i had made this card with a lot of filling in it :D 

i still remember alot of ppl asking me for a tutorial ! 

So now that i was cleaning my lappy folders .... i found the pics i had taken ! 

so here goes the tutorial !

Sorry for the bad photography - its with a mobile cam (thats what i had @ that time !! STONE AGE)

Okay so first its time to gather all ur supplies ..... 

since it was my "Primitive age" of Card making skills  

all the charms i had (almost all) were handmade .

 even this ! :D 

Well so time for the layout - 

i dont rem the size now ... but as u can make out from the picture below 

that the card is supposed to have 3 flaps (equal all of them) 

So mark ur windows of the same size on both flaps towards left. 

 fold and check ! it would look somthing like this 

after cutting.

 here is how it looks from the inside

 Now u need to sandwich a clear polythene / clear plastic pouch

 in between the windows !  secure with 2 way tape or glue dots 

And seal the windows together !

Somthing like this ....

Dont worry about arranging the charms inside just let them be .. 

i added another lil red card inside with my message for my best friend .... 

 

 

Ride with me - easel card

Hi guys !

Today i have a quick post for u on my second easel card for the ICRC 11  (easel card + basic shapes) 

as a DT member , i totally enjoyed making another one for the gallery !

but this time i added a little more challenge for myself

i used the TCR pallet #80 and sketch 

and blended it with my ICR creation :) :) 

So here is what i created !

 I had specially gone in search for that crochet lace to find the exact match !! 

and guess what i found it ! :)

I used some pie lane butterflies from the stash i had won last month (YEY to that again !!! :D )

which actually matched the colour pallet well so kudos to that.

 

The flowers are totally handmade (handcrafted by me off course !!)

I used a vintage scrap by - creative scraps 

 Stamps by - Prima , Pink paislee and inkadinkado

Dp - Echo park , pink paislee, staples

Since its a season of love ..... 

i think this card will work well for a proposal !! :D 

I sooo wish som1 would be creative enough to give me somthing like this ... :P 

but then ... i hope i find love soon 1st :)
