Hello all :)
I had an egg carton lying around the house for days , finally i put it to good use !!
I made a shabby chic - Egg carton jewelry box!!
ever heard of that ??
Here is what i made
for the lovely black frame.
I wanted to a picture there but our printer isnt working, but no worries it still looks nice :)
The label i have used here is Sizzix Framelits Die Set 5PK - Frames, Decorative #2
Nice dies there by sizzix , lets you work on a lot of different papers.
There is a tiny little pink envelop there which was an extra from my previous project.
The Pink ribbon flower and the white and orange flower on top are handmade.
The baby pink flower is from itsy bitsy.
white lilies are from mallika's extras .

notice the muslin fabric underneath ?
The heart here is cut from Sizzix Bigz Die - Heart, Stem & Leave
Since it a bigz die i can cut many layers of paper together , even felt or fabric even chip board !
But here i just needed one heart.
I distressed it first with my ink pads and then used the Ranger Inkssential CRACKLE ACCENTS Glue
on top for the lovely crackled effect !!
Thats how it is from the inside tiny storage compartments for storing my jewelry :)
Nice right ?
My husband really loved the fact that i didn't go shopping for a paper mache' box
for this and managed to make the egg carton look so awesome ! :)
I have truly enjoyed doing this one cant wait to hear your thoughts.
DO check out the links of the products that i have used here :)
it may just be the thing are looking for ! :)
